Machinist
Main Functions:
- Read and interpret technical drawings
- Set up and operate various CNC machine tools (lathes and milling machines)
- Deburr parts as they come off the machine
- Inspect machined parts
- Perform preventive maintenance
- Actively participate in the development and maintenance of quality standards and processes
Education and Experience
- DEP CNC machining techniques with an ASP (Advanced Specialized Technician)
3 to 5 years of CNC machining experience
Basic knowledge of metrology
Experience in the aerospace and military sectors would be an asset
Description of skills:
Ability to work in a team
Meticulous and detail-oriented, working to high quality standards
Autonomous and resourceful
Specific requirements related to the Canadian Controlled Goods Program :
- Must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident
- Must have no criminal record
Additional Information:
- Full-time day or evening shift
