Tasks

  • Observe gauges, meters, computer printouts, video monitors and products to ensure correct operation of machinery
  • Operate and adjust equipment that grinds, filters, mixes or processes minerals.
  • Set up, prepare and adjust processing machinery
  • Verify processing conditions and work area
  • Operate single-function machinery to process mineral ores
  • Record production information and complete reports
  • Make adjustments to machinery
