Montreal Metro Blue Line Extension
AECOM, a world leader in infrastructure, is proud to lead the joint venture Gestion Blue Line Extension (GPLB) which was retained by the STM to carry out the Professional Services mandate for the Project Office.
AECOM uses its extensive expertise in geotechnics and tunneling, civil engineering and structure, alignment and track, mechanics, electricity, telecommunications, energy, roads, traffic, planning, and project management.
Job description
Reporting to the Project Director, the Technical Coordinator is responsible for:

  • Coordinate the production of several technical deliverables related to the projects
  • Exercise matrix governance over professional and technical staff
  • Organize coordination meetings and monitor actions;
  • Coordinate interfaces between disciplines and work packages;
  • Manage change requests;
  • Participate in the definition of deliverables;
  • Ensure the distribution of inputs to engineering teams.

Profile sought
Qualifications required:

  • University education in engineering;
  • Being a member of the OIQ;
  • 4 years of experience in disciplines associated with infrastructure (architecture, civil, structure, building mechanics, building electricity, telecommunications, automation, etc.) and specialized industrial equipment (eg track, installations motorized, TCPE, etc.)

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Training in project management;
  • 7 years of experience in disciplines associated with infrastructure (architecture, civil, structure, building mechanics, building electricity, telecommunications, automation, etc.) and specialized industrial equipment (eg track, facilities motorized, TCPE, etc.);
  • Communication skills;
  • Autonomy;
  • Rigour.
