We are looking for an electromechanic for our client located in Montreal. Under the supervision of the Maintenance Manager, the electromechanic is responsible for carrying out repairs as well as preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment to ensure its proper functioning and prevent unplanned shutdowns.

Main responsibilities:

• Intervene immediately in the event of equipment breakdown or failure;
• Carry out, as needed, mechanical work in the plant (on equipment, services or buildings), depending on the workload of his department;
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance work, following the established schedule, on the various equipment used by the company;
• Manage and update the inventory of equipment under his responsibility;;
• Carry out other related tasks as needed.

Required training, skills and experience :

• DEP or DEC in industrial mechanics, electromechanics or maintenance;
• Possess a C License if the position requires it, otherwise it is an asset;
• Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook);
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position;
• Ability to perform physical efforts and move heavy equipment;
• Diagnostic skills and knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic and hydrodynamic equipment;
• Proficiency in TIG welding to perform sanitary welds;
• Autonomy, effective time management, and a taste for challenges;
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure;
• Proficiency in French, both oral and written written.

Schedule:

• 8 Hours
• Monday to Friday

Day or Evening:

• Daytime schedule: 5:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Monday to Friday
• Evening schedule: 2:30pm to 11:00pm Monday to Friday
