You will play a key role in supervising night operations, reporting to the Plant Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plan and assign daily tasks, set priorities and monitor work progress to meet production targets.
- Maintain fluid communication with the day team to ensure an efficient transition and operational continuity.
- Promote safety practices, ensuring the proper use of PPE and compliance with company guidelines.
- Supervise welding, assembly and polishing operations, ensuring their compliance with quality plans and standards.
- Analyze non-conformities and implement corrective and preventive measures.
- Support health and safety initiatives, collaborate with the dedicated committee and establish control measures to reduce incidents.
- Ensure safe and quality manufacturing of products by implementing production standard verification systems.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement by applying 5S principles and actively involving employees in these processes.
- Train, motivate and support team members so that they reach their full potential.
- Identify manufacturing defects and act quickly to correct deviations.
- Participate in the development of solutions and initiatives to improve existing processes.
- Perform other tasks in support of the needs of the company.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- 2 years of supervisory experience.
- 3 years of experience in TIG welding, assembly and polishing.
- Ability to read and interpret plans, schematics and manufacturing orders.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement approaches.
- Asserted leadership, with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in French.
