NIGHT FOREMAN

You will play a key role in supervising night operations, reporting to the Plant Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Plan and assign daily tasks, set priorities and monitor work progress to meet production targets.
  • Maintain fluid communication with the day team to ensure an efficient transition and operational continuity.
  • Promote safety practices, ensuring the proper use of PPE and compliance with company guidelines.
  • Supervise welding, assembly and polishing operations, ensuring their compliance with quality plans and standards.
  • Analyze non-conformities and implement corrective and preventive measures.
  • Support health and safety initiatives, collaborate with the dedicated committee and establish control measures to reduce incidents.
  • Ensure safe and quality manufacturing of products by implementing production standard verification systems.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement by applying 5S principles and actively involving employees in these processes.
  • Train, motivate and support team members so that they reach their full potential.
  • Identify manufacturing defects and act quickly to correct deviations.
  • Participate in the development of solutions and initiatives to improve existing processes.
  • Perform other tasks in support of the needs of the company.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • 2 years of supervisory experience.
  • 3 years of experience in TIG welding, assembly and polishing.
  • Ability to read and interpret plans, schematics and manufacturing orders.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement approaches.
  • Asserted leadership, with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in French.
