NIGHT FOREMAN

You will play a key role in supervising night operations, reporting to the Plant Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Plan and assign daily tasks, set priorities and monitor work progress to meet production targets.
Maintain fluid communication with the day team to ensure an efficient transition and operational continuity.
Promote safety practices, ensuring the proper use of PPE and compliance with company guidelines.
Supervise welding, assembly and polishing operations, ensuring their compliance with quality plans and standards.
Analyze non-conformities and implement corrective and preventive measures.
Support health and safety initiatives, collaborate with the dedicated committee and establish control measures to reduce incidents.
Ensure safe and quality manufacturing of products by implementing production standard verification systems.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement by applying 5S principles and actively involving employees in these processes.
Train, motivate and support team members so that they reach their full potential.
Identify manufacturing defects and act quickly to correct deviations.
Participate in the development of solutions and initiatives to improve existing processes.
Perform other tasks in support of the needs of the company.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

2 years of supervisory experience.
3 years of experience in TIG welding, assembly and polishing.
Ability to read and interpret plans, schematics and manufacturing orders.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement approaches.
Asserted leadership, with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills in French.
