What will you do in this position?  

The Procurement and Planning Manager is responsible for supervising all activities related to the supply of raw materials, finished products and services necessary for the proper functioning of the company. He/she must also ensure that production planning is in line with the needs of the company, while optimizing costs and respecting deadlines. This position involves an international dimension, standardization of business processes, and strong integration with the global supply chain.

This position requires a combination of technical and management skills, as well as the ability to adapt to a constantly changing environment and on an international scale.

RESPONSIBILITIES

​​Supply Management:

  • Develop and implement international sourcing strategies (3 sites in 3 countries)
  • Control stock levels and optimize inventories
  • Monitor orders and manage supplier relationships
  • Implement performance indicators to evaluate the effectiveness of supply management processes stocks

Production Planning:

  • Develop production plans based on sales and production capacities
  • Coordinate with production, logistics and customer service departments to ensure product availability

Continuous Improvement and Standardization:

  • Standardize business processes across all entities (3 sites) of the company
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize procurement and planning processes
  • Collaborate with production and quality teams to resolve issues and improve performance

Team Management:

  • Supervise and support the procurement and planning
  • Set clear objectives and measure team performance

Required profile

  • Degree in supply chain management, logistics, production management or related field
  • Certificate in supply chain management (such as CPSM or APICS) is an asset
  • Solid understanding of procurement and supply chain management processes
  • In-depth knowledge of production planning and inventory management techniques
  • Proficiency in ERP tools and supply chain management software
  • Ability to work in a team and coordinate with different departments
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • Organizational and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
