Auditor
Job Summary
As an Auditor, you will be responsible for carrying out certification, compilation and statutory tax mandates for a diverse clientele, including SMEs, non-profit organizations and public companies. You will also participate in special mandates, while contributing to the development and training of the team.
Your main responsibilities
- Carry out certification and compilation mandates while ensuring their compliance and quality.
- Assist team members in carrying out mandates.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements.
- Draft and review tax returns for individuals and companies.
- Participate in the evaluation of financial forecasts and the analysis of internal controls, by formulating strategic recommendations.
- Train, supervise and, occasionally, evaluate interns and junior members of the team.
- Provide support to clients on their accounting and tax issues.
- Represent the firm with professionalism and ensure quality customer service.
- Perform any other related tasks related to the position.
Required profile
- Degree in accounting, finance or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in certification in an accounting firm.
- Technical knowledge: Proficiency in CaseWare, CaseView, Excel and Taxprep software.
- Excellent command of French (oral and written).
