- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
Tasks
- Assist physicians in the assessment of patients
- Position patients for treatments by chiropractor or machine
- Operate and maintain sterilization equipment and instrumentation for re-use according to standardized safety practices
- Schedule and confirm appointments
- Manage routine office functions including reception, telephone and booking appointments
- Provide advice about merchandise
- Assist in the preparation and administration of examinations
- Obtain specifications for eyeglasses and contact lenses from a prescription prepared by an ophthalmologist or optometrist
