We are experiencing strong international growth. As such, our Automation team is looking for a project manager (intermediate or senior) to support the growth of our projects.
Intermediate project manager in automation – Montreal
Role:
You will be an integral part of a young and dynamic company and will work in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams on varied projects in the food, pharmaceutical and industrial fields.
Responsibilities:
- Manage factory automation projects: planning, supervision, change control and reporting on budget, schedule and resources, manufacturers and contractors.
- Define needs with our customers;
- Lead project meetings;
- Design automated systems and select hardware (control, instrumentation, motor controls, design of control panels, etc.);
- Prepare specifications, plans and quotes;
- Act as a technical leader in automation;
- Ensure compliance with deadlines and budgets while delivering quality projects with high added value;
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary project team;
- Follow up with contractors and equipment suppliers.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Automated Production Engineering (GPA) or equivalent;
- Member of the Order of Engineers of Quebec is an asset;
- Minimum 7 years of experience as a project manager in industrial automation;
- Experience in the food and/or pharmaceutical field (asset);
