Procurement/Purchasing Supervisor –

Our client is a growing Quebec company, recognized for its expertise and the quality of its operations. To support this expansion, the company is looking to hire a Procurement/Purchasing Supervisor to strengthen its team.
Working with the Director, you will be responsible for supervising your team to ensure optimal procurement.
You will play a key role in managing supplier relationships, tracking orders, and optimizing inventories.
More specifically, you will be required to:
Manage suppliers and maintain long-term business relationships
Negotiate purchasing terms and ensure order tracking
Monitor inventory levels (min/max) and anticipate inventory shortages. needs
Identify potential delays and implement necessary corrective actions
Ensure smooth and effective communication with suppliers
Collaborate with various internal departments to ensure optimal supply flow
Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, including supervision or demonstrating strong leadership potential
Experience in an industrial or distribution environment (an asset)
Excellent negotiation, organizational, and communication skills
Interpersonal Teamwork, rigor, proactivity, and the ability to manage priorities
