Configuration Project Manager

Our client, a manufacturing company renowned for its specialized technical solutions, is seeking a configuration technician to join its team. This person will play a key role in managing complex system configurations, while supporting customers through training and support.

This versatile role requires excellent analytical skills, a sense of customer service, and a certain degree of mobility for occasional on-site interventions.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Create and validate customized technical configurations based on customer needs.

  • Collaborate closely with internal teams (sales, production, purchasing, logistics) to ensure the consistency of delivered solutions.

  • Prepare and deliver technical training on the use of the configuration software (in person or remotely).

  • Travel to customers occasionally (4 to 5 times per year) to provide support on the Field experience.

  • Document processes, configurations, and customer feedback with a view to continuous improvement.

Required profile:

  • College diploma (DEC) in mechanical engineering or a related discipline.

  • Good organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Experience with configuration or modeling software is an asset.

  • Proven communication and technical communication skills.

  • Comfortable leading training sessions and interacting with a diverse clientele.

  • Excellent command of French and English, both spoken and written.

  • Available for international travel a few times a year.
