Purchasing Director

Our client is a fast-growing Canadian company. The company places efficiency, collaboration, and innovation at the heart of its operations. To support its development, we are looking for an experienced Purchasing Director who will participate in and contribute to the organization's growth. Your Responsibilities Working with the President, you will be responsible for the company's procurement strategy. In this role, you will: Develop, implement, and evolve the purchasing strategy to support the company's growth. Manage the Purchasing team and ensure its professional development. Negotiate agreements with national and international suppliers. international

Ensure product availability while optimizing costs and inventory levels Implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to improve processes Work closely with the sales, operations, and logistics teams Conduct market intelligence and identify new sourcing opportunities

What we are looking for

• 10 years of experience in a similar role
• Education in management, logistics, supply chain, or a related field
• Strong negotiation and team management skills
• Knowledge of ERP systems and procurement best practices
• Results-oriented, engaging leadership, and excellent communication skills Interpersonal skills
• Fluency in  French and English . Spanish would be a great asset
