Ready to own a market segment?
As our next Segment Marketing Manager, you'll join our growing Marketing team and report to the Segment Marketing Director. Your role is critical to driving market growth and customer success in the Agriculture segment of our business. You act as the voice of the customer inside the company and ensure that all marketing, product, pricing and communications activities are aligned to segment needs and opportunities. In short, you connect strategy to action for your segment.
OVERVIEW OF THE WORK:
• Understand growers’ needs and challenges;
• Conduct gap analysis and market entry analysis for your segment;
• Identify segment trends, opportunities, and unmet needs within your segment;
• Gather field insights to support your analysis and inform Product Management, Marketing Intelligence, and Communications;
• Define and execute segment-specific marketing strategies;
• Develop and implement marketing plans to drive product adoption and engagement;
• Adapt global launches for segment-specific messaging, tools, and events;
• Lead and customize campaigns for targeted segments and regions;
• Equip Sales with segment knowledge, tools, playbooks, and training;
• Advocate for segment priorities internally through briefs, meetings, and training;
• Track your segment performance using KPIs;
• Act as liaison across functions to ensure alignment on segment activities.
QUALIFICATIONS :
• Bachelor's degree in business administration or marketing or equivalent;
• Deep understanding of grower challenges in our agriculture segment (ex: CEA, vegetable transplant, substrate/containerized berry production…);
• At least 5 years of experience in a commercial business function (preferably marketing/market analysis);
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities;
• Ability to work with different personality types and to adapt to specific audiences;
• Ability to travel for work, including to Latin America;
• Good Strong analytical skills, strategic thinking and sound judgment;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office;
• Ability to speak Spanish (a strong asset).
