Financial Controller

My client, a company that has been around for over 50 years and is a leader in building foundation repair near Saint-Bruno. They are looking for a controller/accountant. They have over a hundred employees. This is to manage the complete accounting cycle, supervise 2 employees, prepare financial statements and supervise payroll and benefits. Tasks: 

-Manage daily accounting (payables, receivables, payroll, cash flow);  

-Manage the complete accounting cycle;  

-Supervise 2 accounting clerks 

-Prepare monthly financial statements and perform various account analyses;  

-Improve financial processes and internal controls for inventory management;  

-Collaborate with the sales and production department 

-Prepare and present performance bonuses 

-Establish and control financial forecasts 

-Perform various financial data analyses;  

-Coordinate the production of government reports;  

-Any other related tasks;  

 

Ideal candidate: 

-Bachelor's degree in accounting  

-Minimum 5 years of experience in a controller position;  

-Experience in the construction industry and in project accounting. 

-Advanced Excel software level; 

-Have knowledge of Maestro software (an asset) 

-Excellent analytical and synthesis skills; 

-Resourceful; teamwork, positive leader 

-Proactive, dynamic, good communicator, 

-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; Good knowledge of tax standards.  

 

Conditions: 

-Full-time, permanent position.  

-Salary ranging from $90K-115K+ depending on experience
