My client is a multinational engineering company that has been around for over 40 years with offices in Montreal, the North Shore and the South Shore, is looking for a Building Mechanics Project Engineer to join their team. Projects up to $1 billion. Possibility of teleworking or working in the office. Choice of home office. Flexibility and respect.
Main functions:
- Design HVAC systems (ventilation, air conditioning, heating, plumbing, etc.);
- Perform design calculations to ensure project compliance;
- Manage project deadlines and budgets while coordinating subcontractors.
- Approve and sign plans;
- Supervise surveys, estimates and preparation of plans and specifications;
- Determine the equipment required to carry out the projects presented with technicians
- Participate in the preparation of bids for service.
Ideal candidate
- BAC in mechanical engineering
- Be a member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ)
- Have the General Health and Safety on Construction Sites (ASP) course
- 10 years or more of experience in building mechanics
- Proficiency in Revit software and the Office suite
- Be able to approve plans
- Be able to collaborate in a team
- Have an excellent team spirit analysis
