Role
Reporting to management, the IT technician will be called upon to offer IT support to our clients, some of whom are in the Valleyfield region. As part of this position, teleworking is possible, but the selected person must also be able to travel to our clients. For this reason, we thank all interested candidates, but we will only contact those who are within an "acceptable" radius of our clients.
The selected person will also be called upon to work on stimulating internal projects.
Responsibilities
- Provide level 1, 2 and 3 IT support.
- Proactively monitor issues detected in the management platform, environment security and external backups with clients.
- Manage Cloud and hybrid environments.
- Prepare, configure, repair and deploy computers and network equipment.
- Participate in the deployment of new environments and migrations of existing environments at customers.
- Participate in client/internal projects in collaboration with the IT management team.
- Write technical documentation and follow up with the rest of the team.
Qualifications
- Hold a DEC or AEC in computer science.
- Knowledge of Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure cloud platforms.
- Knowledge of the Microsoft 365 platform (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Intune).
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows 7, 10 platforms.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office 2010-2019.
- Have functional knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server (2003-2019).
- Have functional knowledge of Microsoft technologies (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, RDS, etc.).
- Have functional knowledge of networking (DHCP, DNS, VPN, etc.).
- Bilingualism (oral and written).
- Valid driving license.
- Have between 3 to 5 years of experience as a systems administrator (Asset).
- Have functional knowledge with Linux (Asset).
- Possess functional knowledge of Python, JavaScript and MySQL (Asset).
- Hold an AWS or Microsoft certification (Asset).
