Your mandate:Reporting to the Senior Director, Technologies , the Director will be responsible for the operation and delivery of IT services. The IT Development, Infrastructure and Operations Department brings together the Software Development, Infrastructure and Support and Business Intelligence Services. The Director will manage three department heads, including a supervisor, analysts, developers and programmers, administrators and IT technicians.
Your challenges: b>

  • Plan developments in the IT infrastructure to guarantee the required level of service and security while ensuring compliance with the organization's policies;
  • Manage and monitor contractual agreements and budgets, including investments, approvals and purchasing tracking. Ensure the quality of solutions and delivery of services while respecting budgets and deadlines;
  • Plan the developments, design and delivery of data analysis environments;
  • Manage the development, delivery and integration of software applications into the organization's solutions;
  • Establish and monitor quality and performance indicators to guarantee the level of service and identify improvement actions;
  • Organize the IT management, infrastructure and operations in order to respond to the overall strategy by delivering and operating IT solutions resulting from the enterprise architecture plan and according to the governance of the project office;
  • Manage the directives and standards associated with technological assets (replacements, obsolescence, standardization, etc.);
  • Prepare and write the strategic and tactical plan for the IT Infrastructure and Operations Department and its Services;
  • Develop action plans and determine how to use resources to achieve business objectives by considering the dynamics between the different sectors of the organization and the trends in its field of activity;
  • Plan, control and evaluate the operations of its Directorate in line with the strategy of the Main Directorate, Technologies;
  • Build a strong team by attracting key talents, promoting their development and ensuring succession;
  • Manage, mobilize and maximize the work of your team members;
  • Plan, develop and manage the budget of your Directorate, and participate in the development and management of the budget of the Main Directorate, Technologies;
  • Establish and promote initiatives to improve the performance of IT management, infrastructure and operations;
  • Manage multiple projects and files effectively.

Your profile:

  • Have a bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or any other relevant field;
  • Have a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years in team management;
  • Have management experience in a unionized organization (asset);
  • Demonstrate flexible and caring leadership, and know how to empower team members;
  • Have excellent relational and communication skills;
  • Be open to change and encourage it by integrating it into your daily work.
