Your Mandate: Reporting to the Senior Director, Technologies, the Director will be responsible for the operation and delivery of IT services. The IT Development, Infrastructure, and Operations Division include Software Development, Infrastructure and Support, and Business Intelligence Services. The Director will manage three Service Chiefs, under whom there are supervisors, analysts, developers, programmers, administrators, and IT technicians.

Your Challenges:

  • Plan the evolution of IT infrastructure to ensure the required level of service and security, ensuring compliance with organizational policies.
  • Manage and monitor contractual agreements and budgets, including investments, approvals, and procurement tracking. Ensure the quality of solutions and service delivery within budgets and timelines.
  • Plan the evolution, design, and delivery of data analysis environments.
  • Manage the development, delivery, and integration of software applications within the organization's solutions.
  • Implement and monitor quality and performance indicators to ensure the level of service and identify improvement actions.
  • Organize the IT Development, Infrastructure, and Operations Division to align with the overall strategy by delivering and operating IT solutions derived from the enterprise architecture plan and project office governance.
  • Manage directives and standards related to technological assets (replacements, obsolescence, standardization, etc.).
  • Prepare and draft the strategic and tactical plan for the IT Development, Infrastructure, and Operations Division and its Services.
  • Develop action plans and determine how to use resources to achieve business objectives considering the dynamics between different sectors of the organization and trends in its field.
  • Plan, control, and evaluate the operations of the Division in line with the strategy of the Senior Director, Technologies.
  • Build a strong team by attracting key talents, promoting their development, and ensuring succession.
  • Manage, mobilize, and maximize the work of team members.
  • Plan, develop, and manage the budget of the Division and participate in the development and management of the budget of the Senior Director, Technologies.
  • Establish and promote initiatives to improve the performance of the IT Development, Infrastructure, and Operations Division.
  • Manage multiple projects and issues effectively.

Your Profile:

  • Hold a bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or any other relevant field.
  • Have a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years in team management.
  • Experience in management within a unionized organization is an asset.
  • Demonstrate flexible and compassionate leadership and the ability to empower team members.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Be open to change and integrate it into daily work.
