Liaison Officer – Community Relations (Montreal Region)

Groupe Conseil UDA is looking for a liaison agent to serve the territory of Quebec (mainly the Montreal region). As a liaison agent, you will have to represent clients with landowners by disseminating and collecting information as well as signing various agreements.

The position is attached to our Saint-Charles-sur-Richelieu office, but can be offered up to 100% of the time in telework (according to the candidate's preference).

Permanent - Full-time, PROFILE: $50,000 TO $80,000 DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE

Responsibilities related to the position

  • Understand and explain the scope of the work to be carried out by various clients (temporary work area, temporary access, schedule, equipment, obstruction, impacts);
  • Collect information from landowners;
  • Obtain agreement signatures (options, easements, etc.) with owners;
  • Manage and transmit information collected in the field to the employer for integration into databases;
  • Notify and conduct rigorous follow-up with owners, cities and third parties in order to minimize delays;
  • Determine negotiation/compensation strategies;
  • Work in collaboration with all departments of the company to carry out projects;
  • Promote and implement the occupational health and safety prevention program.

Requirements and training

  • College diploma (DEC) in real estate, geography, urban planning, or other disciplines related to the environment;
  • More than 3 years of relevant experience;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills;
  • Valid driver's license required;
  • Ability to interpret legal plans, land title documents, easement documents and technical drawings;
  • Good conflict resolution, planning, problem-solving, decision-making and negotiation skills, including the ability to influence in delicate situations;
  • Working knowledge of laws and regulations applicable;
  • Be structured and organized;
  • Advanced knowledge of the Office suite.
