Under the responsibility of a member of management or management staff of the Information Technology Department, the incumbent of the station ensures the availability, performance and integrity of the network infrastructure and servers; handles more complex IT problems and participates in various large-scale projects. Also acts as an IT support technician.
YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage the computer network, municipal management applications and security for network access;
• Carry out the installation, configuration and updating of servers, routers, firewalls or any other LAN/WAN IP network equipment;
• Must regularly monitor the evolution of new applications and new IT technologies;
• Deploy and monitor network security solutions (virtual private networks, authentication, intrusion detection/prevention);
• Participate in managing the performance of environments networking;
• Plan and test networking solutions;
• Follow up on the diagnosis of complex disorders;
• Perform needs analysis, plan and participate in the implementation of certain projects relating to his field of expertise;
• Also carry out the tasks of an IT support technician.
