The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for providing superior customer service to customers over the phone. Responsibilities include assessing the customer needs promptly and efficiently, making product recommendations, providing accurate information regarding the product details, taking sales orders and ensuring that delivery times and information are recorded accurately to ensure that we exceed the customers’ expectations.
We are looking for a driven and top performing sales professional who is open to learning from and partnering with our engineering team in order to deliver uncompromising service and solutions to our customers. An Engineering degree is not a prerequisite – however an interest in customer service and a passion to “close the deal” is.
Responsibilities:
- Serves customers by selecting products we manufacture to help meet their needs.
- Using your time effectively by thinking out of the box to help solve customer’s heating and temperature control needs.
- Required to make sales calls to new and existing customers to maintain relationships and to cultivate additional business;
- Responsible for achieving sales targets and objectives as set by manager;
- Provides product, service or equipment technical information by answering questions and requests.
- Accurately enter quotations and orders into the system
- Responsible for developing and growing the industrial electric heating market through new client contact.
- Studying blueprints, plans and related customer documents; consulting with engineers, purchasers and other professional and technical personnel.
- Gains customer acceptance by explaining or demonstrating cost reductions and operations improvements.
- Confirms details of delivery according to scheduled times and commitment dates
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Minimum Skills Required:
- 5+ years inside sales experience (industrial sales background an asset)
- High level of commitment to exceptional customer service; establish and maintain effective relationships with customers
- Must have excellent telephone skills.
- Demonstrated initiative with the ability to work in a collaborative team-based environment;
- Highly organized in prioritizing work and multi-tasking;
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (i.e. Excel, Word and Outlook, etc.).
- Knowledgeable of industry products;
- Excellent communication skills required (i.e. written and oral).
- Engineering degree is an asset but not a requirement
- Must be bilingual
Remuneration: 90K + bonus
