A culture of quality, an intrinsic value of the organization. The Quality Assurance Coordinator develops, maintains and brings the quality management system to life. The person performs all daily operations related to the quality system and its improvement.
Main Responsibilities:
- Empower, promote and train people on quality and its benefits;
- Interpret and apply standards for quality assurance and maintenance of ISO certification;
- Responsible for the development, implementation, proper functioning and improvement of tools and the quality management system;
- Master quality documentation;
- Responsible for writing and operations processes;
- Investigate customer complaints and non-compliance issues;
- Monitoring, supporting and measuring the effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions and continuous improvement plan;
- Perform internal quality audits;
- Responsible for continuous improvement and problem solving;
- Responsible for monitoring the calibration and control of measuring equipment;
- Actively participate as an expert in his field in various committees and operations meetings (poles and residential wood);
- Support the Plant Managers in achieving the expected quality results (KPIs).

- Solid knowledge in management of ISO 9001 standards.
- Strong knowledge and experience in deploying and maintaining a quality management system.

Education:
- Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, quality assurance or other relevant training (management, quality and operations) or hold at least a technical or undergraduate university degree related to quality assurance.
- Experiences:
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a manufacturing company within a quality department.
- Experience with wood products or wood treatment is a strong asset.
- Languages:
- Functional bilingualism both verbal and written
- Travel:
- Mobility to travel to other factories (25% of the time)
