CNC Machine Tool Operator Permanent Position Night Shift
Responsibilities: You will manufacture landing gear components using high-tech equipment such as lathes, milling machines, and multi-axis CNC machining centers.
Specifically, you will be required to:
- Prepare, verify, and assemble the workpiece.
- Perform machining operations according to the machining plan.
- Solve technical problems or provide suggestions to technicians for potential solutions.
- Inspect the workpiece to ensure compliance with specifications and take necessary measures if any abnormalities are detected.
- Organize and prioritize tasks based on their importance.
- Consult technical documents on the computer, such as work drawings, operation sheets, and procedures, and complete the appropriate quality assurance documentation as needed.
- Ensure that tools, jigs, and equipment are in good condition.
- Inform technicians about operation conditions and make suggestions for improvement.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of operations and the team's objectives in terms of safety, quality, cost, and on-time delivery.
Requirements:
- High school diploma and vocational diploma in machining techniques.
- A diploma in CNC machining on machine tools is an asset.
- Minimum of one year of experience in CNC machine tool operation.
- Basic computer skills.
- Attention to detail and precision.
- Analytical thinking.
- Initiative.
- Autonomy.
- Organizational skills and ability to prioritize.

- Must be authorized to work in Canada.

- Competitive salary: up to $40.31 per hour, depending on experience.
- Night shift: Monday to Friday, 00:10 to 6:40 (32.5 working hours but 40 hours paid + $1.00/hour shift premium).
