You will manufacture landing gear components, using high-tech equipment such as lathes, milling machines and multi-axis CNC machining centers. More specifically, you will be called upon to:< /p>
check, prepare and assemble the part
carry out machining operations in accordance with the machining range
resolve technical problems or, if necessary, provide possible solutions to method technicians and CNC programmers
inspect the part to ensure compliance with specifications and take the necessary measures if abnormal situations are detected
organize your work and schedule tasks according to the instructions received on the parts to be treated as a priority.
consult on the computer technical documents such as working drawings, operation sheets, procedures and complete, if necessary, the appropriate quality assurance documentation.
ensure that tools/templates and equipment are in good condition
inform technicians of operating conditions (tooling, assembly, documentation, CNC programs, data) and make suggestions for improvement
assist technicians with improvement projects and development
contribute to the continuous improvement of operations and the achievement of the team's objectives in terms of safety, quality, costs, on-time deliveries
Safran Systèmes d'Atterrissage is a subsidiary of Safran Landing Systems, a world leader in aircraft landing and braking systems. The Mirabel plant is dedicated to the manufacturing of major landing gear components for the Airbus A320, A330, A340 and A350 models, and the Boeing 787.
