PERSONNEL OFFICER (P-2324-0425)
Person, who designs, analyses, assesses and applies professional techniques in the field of human resources, with a view to ensuring optimal performance.
SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS
Ensures the entire process of the staffing cycle;
Develops, updates and evaluates the various tools required for the staffing cycle;
Develops strategies and tools for recruitment and visibility as needed and assess the impact;
Participates in different visibility activities with different partners;
Participates in the exercise of the organizational workforce planning and in the definition of the resources need of its client groups;
Participates in the process of integrating and welcoming new staff;
Compiles statistics used as management indicators;
Establishes and maintains effective communications with the various human resources departments, the organization and the MSSS
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in administration, human resources, industrial relations or another university appropriate discipline.
Experience:
- One to two (1-2) years of relevant experience
Knowledge and Abilities:
- Knowledge of MSSS legislation, regulations, the Ministry Network and programs, and current trends;
- Knowledge of First Nation health/social service models, trends and issues is an asset;
- Knowledge of Cree culture, language, and social/health realities in Eeyou Istchee is an asset;
- Communication, leadership and teamwork skills;
- Excellent planning and decision making skills;
- Computer skills (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
LANGUAGE
Fluent in English and French;
Fluency in Cree is an asset.
OTHER
