Day laborer/Industrial painter

Main Responsibilities
Reporting to the Production Foreman, the General Labourer/Industrial Painter is responsible for ensuring the completion of assigned tasks and projects. This requires a high level of precision.
More specifically, the person will be required to:- Clean the various components;
- Masking in preparation for sandblasting and painting;
- Prepare the required paint mix and set up the workstation according to the projects to be carried out;
- Sandblast the parts;
- Paint and spray metal and steel parts and components;
- Handle parts using an overhead crane and forklift;
- Complete the required documentation related to their duties;
- Complete projects while adhering to the required quality standards;
- Ensure the use of good occupational health and safety practices;
- Work while maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Good order;
- All other related tasks.
Desired Profile
- AEP in industrial painting is an asset;
- Minimum three (3) years of experience in the heavy industry;
- Initiative, diligent, rigorous, and meticulous;
- Demonstrate a safe work attitude;
- Excellent knowledge of painting tools and equipment;
- Organized and able to plan tasks effectively within the given timeframe;
- Excellent customer service skills.
