The typical salary range for this position is $54 500.00 - $81 700.00 annually. The base salary offered will be determined based on the candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity considerations.
SUMMARY:
This position will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Talent Acquisition team.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide recruitment and selection support to Metro and Food Basics stores in high-volume positions.
- Assist with job postings, phone screens, interview scheduling, references, etc.
- Research and provide suggestions to increase candidate pools.
- Support the talent management team with various administrative tasks.
- Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws and regulations.
- Other Talent Acquisition projects and initiatives as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be currently enrolled in or graduated within 1 year of a post-secondary program. Programs of study in HR, Business or Commerce are an asset.
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, One Note)
- A demonstrated self starter with the aptitude to drive initiatives
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Retail experience is an asset
- Experience using social recruitment platforms an asset (i.e. LinkedIn)
