Accountant technician

The finance team at Transteck, the number 1 transporter offering vehicle delivery services across Canada and the United States, is expanding, and we are seeking an ambitious individual for the position of Accounting Technician.

Your Contribution:

• Participate in various stages of the accounting cycle process.
• Prepare accounting entries.
• Perform bank reconciliations.
• Assist the existing team in preparing month-end procedures.
• Reconcile intercompany balances and transactions.
• Collaborate on different projects with colleagues.
• Be open to a range of tasks related to the main accounting cycles.
• Participate in the implementation of new procedures related to your job tasks.
• Perform various financial analyses deemed necessary by management.
• Contribute to the payroll cycle and its accounting.

The Ideal Profile:

• DEC or DEP in administration (accounting).
• 2 years or more of relevant experience, but junior profiles are also welcome!
• Comfortable with Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, etc.) and a quick learner of new software.
• Efficient with good execution speed.
• Team player.
• Personable with a strong commitment to doing quality work.
