Medical Archivist

Your main responsibilities:
- Inform and guide the public on access to and protection of medical records.
- Respond to requests and testify in court when necessary.
- Manage, organize, and secure health records according to legal standards and deadlines.
- Develop forms, policies, and procedures related to medical records.
- Analyze, code, and interpret data for planning, evaluation, and research.
Desired profile:
- College diploma in medical records technology
OR
- Diploma in medical archiving from a school recognized by the Ministry of Education or a diploma recognized by the Quebec Association of Medical Archivists or the College of Medical Archivists of Canada.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a medical archivist
- Coding experience preferred
- Bilingual French/English, Inuktitut an asset
