Under the supervision of the production manager and the foreman, the maintenance manager:
95% of his time:
- Perform preventive maintenance: maintain and improve the plan in place.
- According to priorities, perform corrective maintenance of yard and plant equipment (leaks, machinery inspections, lubrication). Make tool repairs (buffer, welders and handles, extensions, magnetic drill, etc.).
- Perform daily inspections of overhead cranes.
5% of your time: Call on subcontractors when necessary and request quotes.
Your skills and abilities:
- Basic knowledge of mechanics and electromechanics
- Be able to work at height (lifting platforms, stepladders)
- Know how to manage priorities
- Autonomy
- Good physical shape and safe behavior
Schedule and benefits:
- Schedule from 7 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. Monday to Thursday and from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Friday (40 hrs)
- Paid double time after 44 hours
- Paid time and a half between 40 and 44 hours.
