We are looking for a CNC and Conventional Machinist to join our manufacturing team. The position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative production environment.
Tasks
- Read and interpret technical drawings
- Use machine tools to shape parts according to required specifications
- Perform machining operations on CNC, conventional lathes and CNC milling machines
- Control the quality of produced parts using measuring instruments such as gauges
- Program and set up CNC and conventional machines with systems such as Mazatrol and Fanuc
- Check the dimensions of machined parts using precise measuring instruments (e.g. micrometers, calipers).
- Check product dimensions to ensure accuracy and compliance with specifications using precise measuring instruments precision.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
- Good command of basic mathematics
- Working knowledge of machining techniques
- Ability to use measuring instruments such as gauges
- Experience with CNC lathes, CNC and conventional mills, as well as machine programming and setup
Experience with equipment and machines:
- Boring machines
- Drills
- Milling machines
- Saws
