The welder, under the supervision of his team leader, welds (Mig, Tig) and assembles steel and aluminum equipment
Tasks and responsibilities:
- Weld using the semi-automatic process using operational procedures while respecting the required quality standard;
- Perform uniform welds of variable lengths;
- Perform welds in three different positions (flat, horizontal and downward);
- Check the appearance of the weld bead and the absence of porosity;
- Organize the time allocated to welding in order to optimize productivity;
- Handle filler products, bins, tools and equipment carefully and safely with the help of the overhead crane;
- Keep your work area safe and clean;
- Perform any other tasks inherent to the position.
