Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor (Electromechanic) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in electromechanics, significant experience in the food sector, and will be motivated to contribute to the reliability of our operations.

Main responsibilities

Equipment planning and maintenance

  • Develop and maintain the preventive maintenance program for production equipment and building systems.
  • Prepare weekly maintenance schedules and supervise their execution, in coordination with internal teams and subcontractors.
  • Organize the work of the teams according to work orders and the preventive maintenance (PM) program.
  • Optimize work schedules, assign personnel, prepare required materials.
  • Carry out an inventory of critical parts and manage material orders.

Operation safe

  • Develop and audit standard operating processes (SOPs), cleaning and maintenance procedures.
  • Train teams in current standards and ensure their application in the field.
  • Implement and maintain the 5S method.
  • Optimize processes in collaboration with operators and manage tests to identify improvement solutions.

Factory operations

  • Support new equipment installation projects.
  • Participate in daily operations and preventive maintenance if necessary.
  • Replace electromechanics during vacations or holidays.

Required profile

Qualifications and skills required

  • Education: Diploma in electromechanics (mandatory).
    Training in industrial mechanics alone will not be sufficient.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 10 years of experience as an electromechanic.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory role in the food sector.
  • Excellent knowledge of preventive maintenance programs and automated production systems.
  • Demonstrated leadership, organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with the 5S method and processes SOP.
