JOB SUMMARY
The Press Brake Operator positions set up and operate the machine used to shape and form sheet metal or other metal parts or products. Participates in the inspection of goods in the warehouse
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Read the plan, program and adjust the machine for each part.
- Check the pieces of metal using precision tools and make the appropriate modifications, if necessary.
- Launch production, following the check.
- Install the metal parts on the machine.
- Determine the bending sequence
- Select the tools according to the thickness of the metal sheet and the type of bending;
- Carry out maintenance and cleaning of the machine. (assigned to the evening employee)
- Clean the workspace.
- Participate in taking inventory.
- Complete documents for quality (ISO).
- Arrange parts properly on pallets for the next department
- To help or support another member of the organization who is absent or during peak periods, assume all related tasks
SKILLS PROFILES AND QUALIFICATION REQUIRED
Training/ Experience/ Certification
- Diploma of professional studies (DEP) in sheet metal working.
- Minimum experience of two (2) to three (3) years in a similar role
Knowledge
- Knowledge of the Amada press brake
