Legend Responsibilities:

• Interpret welding process specifications
• Operate manual, semi-automatic, and fully automated welding equipment
• Read and interpret welding plans, drawings, specifications, manuals, and procedures
• Inspect welds to ensure compliance with standards and specifications
• Operate manual or semi-automatic oxy-fuel cutting equipment
• Use computer-aided design (CAD) for welding tasks
• Operate metal bending, straightening, and shaping machines
• Fit, braze, and torch straighten metal components
• Determine weldability of materials
• Operate lifting equipment
• Operate welding machines Pre-set welding machines to manufacture or repair metal parts and products.
• Use pre-set soldering or brazing machines to bond metal or fill holes, indentations, and joints.
• Start, stop, adjust, and monitor robotic welding production lines.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment.

Safety Requirements:

• Basic safety clearance required.
