Welder

Under the supervision of the foreman, the welder will primarily work on the prefabrication of piping, accessories, and structural parts, as well as repairs, modifications, and preventive maintenance in an industrial environment.

Main Duties

• Understand and follow ASME and/or CWB welding procedure specifications;
• Assemble and weld steel or stainless steel parts, according to drawings, while respecting prescribed procedures;
• Use manual and/or semi-automatic welding equipment;
• Use manual oxy-acetylene flame cutting equipment;
• Use plasma arc cutting equipment;
• Choose the appropriate filler material based on the procedures;
• Operate the forklift or overhead crane to move parts;
• Drive mobile truck and trailer units;
• Maintain welding equipment and perform minor repairs as needed;
• Perform all tasks professionally, adhering to all company policies and procedures;
• Verify compliance with drawings (self-inspection)

Job Type: Full-time

Compensation: $24.00 to $35.00 per hour

Scheduled Hours: 40 per week
