We are seeking a full-time, permanent site laborer/mason to support our growth.
The candidate will be responsible for:
- Assisting masons and other site workers with daily construction and masonry tasks;
- Preparing and transporting building materials (bricks, blocks, cement, etc.) to the site, ensuring their proper management and safety;
- Assisting in the assembly and installation of masonry structures, following the instructions of supervisors;
- Performing site cleanup and tidying to maintain a safe and orderly work environment;
- Operating masonry tools and equipment under the supervision of qualified workers, while respecting all safety guidelines. ;
- Participate in the installation of scaffolding and other temporary structures required for masonry work;
- Proactively report any potential problems or risks on the site to supervisors;
- Meet deadlines and quality requirements by completing assigned tasks diligently and with attention to detail;
- Contribute to the enforcement of safety standards on the site by wearing appropriate personal protective equipment.
The candidate will demonstrate the ability to:
- Properly use basic tools, such as shovels, wheelbarrows, and other hand equipment, while respecting safety rules;
- Observe and adhere to site safety procedures to minimize the risk of accidents;
- Be able to work in a team and communicate effectively with other team members team to ensure optimal coordination;
- Adapt to various tasks according to project needs, including outdoor work in various weather conditions;
- Demonstrate good physical condition and the ability to work diligently for long hours.
Salary: starting at $37.00
Locations: across Quebec
Schedule:
- 42 hours / week;
- Monday to Friday;

Requirements :
- Fluency in spoken French;
- Valid CCQ competency certificate;
- 1-2 years of experience in masonry;
- ASP Construction and WHMIS 2015;
- A forklift license is an asset.
