CNC Machinist – Manufacturing of parts for packaging equipment

Job Description

As part of our machining team, you will participate in the manufacturing and modification of mechanical parts essential to the construction of our packaging machines.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Machining parts on an OKUMA CNC machine, in accordance with production plans.

• Adjusting machining parameters using G-code.

• Regularly checking dimensions, tolerances, and cutting quality, and adjusting as needed.

• Modify existing machining programs and make technical adjustments.

• Ensure the proper operation of equipment and maintain a clean and safe work environment.

• Mainly produce single parts (not in series), requiring versatility and rigor.

• Perform any other related tasks requested by the immediate supervisor.

Required profile

• Experience in CNC machining (experience with OKUMA: an asset).

• Ability to read and interpret plans Technical skills.

• Autonomy, meticulousness, and attention to detail.

• Ability to modify programs and make adjustments.

• Versatility in manufacturing a variety of parts.

Working Conditions

• Schedule: Monday to Friday, full-time (40 hours/week)

• Possibility of overtime
