Job Description:
The position involves performing digital printing on various types of media such as paper, cardboard, or canvas. This also involves assembling, gluing, cutting, folding, perforating, and binding documents, either manually or using machines. As part of their duties, the operator will be required to make the necessary adjustments to complete the assignment. The operator will also be responsible for ensuring equipment maintenance. Once the finishing work is completed, the operator must package, label, and ship the orders.
Main tasks as an operator:
- Read, analyze, and thoroughly understand the production steps in the file (segment the steps)
- Plan work using the most efficient and productive methods
- Know the properties of different materials
- Assemble, glue, cut, fold, punch, staple, laminate, or bind
- Prepare, adjust, and operate finishing equipment
- Maintain equipment and premises
- Check and perform quality control of products
- Package, label, and ship orders
- Order raw materials after checking inventory. Inventory
- Verify that received goods comply with orders or delivery notes and forward them to the correct department
