Our partner works in the construction industry in Quebec City and Montreal, bidding on public tenders.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Reading plans and specifications
- Preparing detailed cost estimates based on plans and specifications.
- Evaluating the costs of materials, labor, transportation, accommodation, subcontracting, and equipment required for projects based on quotes and specifications.
- Preparing subcontractor contractual documents (agreements, purchase orders, etc.)
- Monitoring addenda and modifications made during the call for tenders.
- Estimate costs related to change requests during project implementation.
- Participating in kickoff meetings with Project managers.
- Ability to work in a team.
- Ability to work on various projects simultaneously, resourceful and results-oriented.
DESIRED PROFILE
- Education: AEC in building or construction estimating; DEC in construction or architecture.
- 10 to 15 years of professional experience in the construction industry.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills (English an asset)
- Computer skills (intermediate level, Excel, Word, MS Project)
