Journeyman Carpenter-Joiner

We are looking for a qualified journeyman carpenter to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out construction and renovation work, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards, as well as site requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform carpentry and joinery work on residential and commercial construction sites.
  • Read and interpret construction plans and technical specifications.
  • Install wood structures, floors, roofs, as well as doors, windows, and other joinery components.
  • Use and maintain carpentry tools and equipment, adhering to safety protocols.
  • Supervise and guide apprentices and other team members.
  • Ensure the quality of work completed, meeting deadlines and ensuring customer satisfaction. client.
  • Collaborate with other trades to ensure the smooth running of projects.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Diploma of Vocational Studies (DEP) in carpentry and joinery or equivalent.
  • Journeyman's card in carpentry and joinery.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the field.
  • Excellent mastery of carpentry and joinery tools and techniques.
  • Knowledge of safety standards and labor regulations.
  • Autonomy, rigor, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a team and supervise apprentices.
  • Valid driver's license and vehicle.
