CNC Laser Operator

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Laser Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating laser cutting machines to produce high-quality components according to specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of machining processes, attention to detail, and the ability to read blueprints effectively. The Laser Operator will play a crucial role in ensuring production efficiency and product quality.

Responsibilities

• Operate laser cutting machines to perform precise cuts on various materials.
• Interpret and analyze blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate production.
• Conduct routine maintenance on laser equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with team members to assemble components as needed.
• Utilize basic math skills for measurements and calculations during the cutting process.
• Assist in the setup of CNC machines and other machining equipment as required.
• Safely operate forklifts, cranes, and other machinery in compliance with safety standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Experience

• Proven experience in laser cutting operations or similar roles within a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with CNC machinery, lathes, milling machines, and general machining practices is advantageous.
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
• Basic math skills are essential for performing measurements accurately.
• Experience operating forklifts and cranes is a plus but not mandatory.
• A commitment to quality workmanship and attention to detail is required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
