Here's what we offer:
- Start date: as soon as possible;
- Job type: Full-time, permanent;
- Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday;
- Schedule from 4:00 a.m. in the morning until the end of the daily collection operations to be carried out (usually around 2:00 p.m.);
- Hourly wage for 2024 between $24.04 and $28.40;
- Hourly wage for 2025 between $25.38 and $31.72;
- Group insurance;
- Defined benefit pension plan;
- Vacation according to the policy in effect;
- One floating holiday;
- Eight sick days.
The responsibilities associated with the position consist of:
- Performing the oil change using the various trucks (side loading, front loading, door to established circuits);
- Driving and respecting road safety rules as well as the recommendations of the operations manager;
- Performing a daily safety round of the vehicle as required by the SAAQ as well as an end-of-day check as required by the MRC;
- Performing minor repairs required on the road or in the garage as well as basic maintenance (greasing and lubricating as well as washing and cleaning the vehicle);
- Completing any documents or reports required by the employer (time card, mileage report, safety report, etc.);
- Performing any other related tasks requested by his immediate superior.
Requirements and skills sought:
- Hold a class 3 driver's license;
- Possess a PEP inspection card (an asset);
- Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience related to the job;
- Have knowledge of hydraulics, electronics and air systems;
- Autonomy and versatility;
- Good adaptability;
- Respect for requirements and pride in a job well done;
- Know how to work in a team;
- Offer excellent service to the clientele.
