In order to expand our teams, we are looking for an Account Manager.

 

The main responsibilities are:

Account management – ​​customer support (65%)

  • Assist customers in the optimal selection of the most suitable products for a competitive solution (Spiralift model, quantities, platform specifications, etc.) and select them (make calculations for current uses)
  • Coordinate with internal service requests requiring more detailed expertise or submissions.
  • Monitor orders/projects sold to customers (specification, contractual, logistics issues)
  • Manage customer issues related to the projects sold and communicate to the people concerned internally; (service, engineering, production, etc.)
  • Agree on the strategy, with internal people, deliverables (parts, inspections, visits, reports, etc.) and deadlines

 

Promotion of Gala products and services (30%)

  • Present our products & services to architects, consultants, end users, integrators (hereinafter “stakeholders”) during Fairs, Visits to stakeholders’ offices (internationally), Webinar, etc.
  • Identify relevant marketing opportunities to improve the visibility of our products and sales
  • Assess problems related to our products, services, or else (payment terms, competitive position of our products, etc.) and identify possible solutions or bring stakeholders together to think about possible solutions
  • Train stakeholders on our products, selection tools and on the use of public documents on our website

Monitoring the competitive positioning of our products (5%)

 

Required profile:

We are looking for a candidate that is professional, comfortable in a technical environment (where more than 50 mechanical engineering engineers and technicians work in all departments of the organization) with good communication skills and who wishes to establish a long-term relationship with our business partners.

  • Academic background in mechanical/civil engineering or any relevant technical field
  • 1 to 6 years of experience (including internships) holding a Bachelor or 3 years of experience after completing a technique
  • Bilingualism, French-English
  • Comfortable in a sales and customer service environment
  • Available to travel overseas for the equivalent of 1 to 2 consecutive weeks (4 to 6 times per year)
