Associate IT Director

The Associate Director, IT, leads a team dedicated to the Mirabel site and provides a direct and local interface with users for all information technology (IT) issues. He is evaluated on business results, service level-oriented support, as well as delivery and support to local business functions, in a standardized and structured manner. In particular, he must assume the following roles:

  • Technology, Infrastructure and Cybersecurity Manager
  • Change, Compliance and Data Integrity Manager
  • Release and Deployment Manager
  • Help Desk Manager
  • Team Lead

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities: Local IT service management includes, but is not limited to:

  • Budget, contract and license management.
  • Oversight of third-party services (MSP, AMS).
  • Responsibility for the quality and quantity of local services (delivery and support processes).
  • Acquisition and maintenance of local technology infrastructure and application software.
  • Installation and accreditation of local solutions and changes that meet business requirements.
  • Ensuring security of local systems in accordance with global IS standards and quality management of local operations, including local help desk and physical environment.
  • Planning releases and deployments of IT solutions.
  • Preparing builds and tests.
  • Executing the transfer, deployment and decommissioning of IT systems and devices.
  • Developing and maintaining divisional IT policies and standard operating procedures aligned with corporate procedures.
  • Managing the IT change control process.
  • Managing the IT system validation process and periodic reviews.

Skills :

Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent).

Experience: Professional experience in Information Technology of 8 to 10 years, with a minimum of 5 years in team management. Leadership in the following areas:

  • Collaborative, able to work effectively in a team and foster a harmonious and productive work environment
  • Customer orientation.
  • Ability to lead a team by motivating and coaching members in various work contexts
  • Strong goal orientation.
  • Ability to synthesize complex content.
  • Ability to manage different stakeholders and their requirements.

Business skills:

Bilingual French-English, with excellent command of both languages, both orally and in writing.

  • Ability to design and manage business cases and scenarios (Business cases).
  • In-depth knowledge of business processes and metrics.
  • In-depth knowledge of the various business functions.
  • Ability to work independently with a strong goal orientation.

Technical Skills:

  • Understanding of the standards that the IS organization must comply with (ITIL, GAMP/GxP, SOC2, COBIT).
  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure and cybersecurity.
  • Knowledge of IT applications.
  • Knowledge of IT systems.

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $90,000.00 to $130,000.00 per year
