We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Technician to join our dynamic Finance team and contribute to our continued growth.
What You’ll Do
- Manage the full accounts payable cycle: open new vendor accounts, receive purchase orders, and process all invoices and employee expense reports (review, entry, and payment).
- Maintain up-to-date vendor records, reconcile vendor statements with the accounting system, and resolve discrepancies.
- Oversee the full accounts receivable cycle: open new customer accounts, issue invoices, record daily payments, process credit notes, monitor customer balances, and follow up on overdue accounts.
- Keep customer records up to date, perform credit checks and limit reviews, reconcile customer payments with statements, and resolve discrepancies.
- Act as the primary point of contact for vendor and customer inquiries, providing professional and timely support.
- Reconcile month-end accounts payable and receivable balances with the general ledger.
- Assist with audits and support additional tasks and projects as requested by the Finance department.
What You Bring
- Bilingualism (French & English): Fluent communication skills in both languages are essential.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a similar role.
- Education: A diploma in Accounting or Administration is an asset.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Sage 300 ERP, Salesforce, SAP Concur, and the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
