Tax Director


In general, the Tax Director will take charge of more complex tax files, prepare and review tax
returns, provide expertise for tax planning of client files, collaborate in supervising the team in order to
comply with all timelines and accuracy of records, and provide support and training to the team.


Position Description:

• Participation in meetings with customers to fully understand their expectations and needs
• Management and supervision of mandates and deadlines
• Review and/or preparation of tax declarations for the various entities
• Review and/or preparation of different tax slips for the different entities
• Presentation of financial statements and tax declarations to clients
• Analysis of corporate structures of families
• Development of tax strategies
• Staff training
• Realization of various special mandates (financial planning, estate, will, tax reorganization, etc.)
• Participation in the preparation of service offers and presentations
• Participation in customer billing
• Advice and collaboration with the investment team for the implementation of the tax aspects of
the investment policy


Requirements:

• A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience
• CPA designation
• Bachelor's or master's degree in taxation
• Experience in an accounting firm
• Deep knowledge of taxation
• Experience with holding companies, trusts and foundations
• Knowledge of financial planning is an asset
• Essential bilingualism (English and French)

Salary: Competitive, to be discussed according to the skills and experience of the candidate – 175K$ +
Other form of compensation: Performance bonus
