Dispenser des soins, des traitements et administrer des médicaments, s'il y a lieu.
S'assurer de la bonne utilisation du plan de soins et de sa mise à jour, conseiller son personnel et l'assister s'il y a lieu.
Déterminer le plan de traitements relié aux plaies et aux altérations de la peau et prodiguer les soins et les traitements qui s’y rattachent.
Effectuer des prélèvements et procéder à la vaccination.
S'assurer que les besoins en soins de chaque résident sont évalués et que les soins dispensés correspondent à leurs besoins.
Évaluer périodiquement la qualité des actes posés par son personnel.
S'assurer que les familles sont informées de l'état des résidents.
S'assurer de l’exactitude de la prescription médicale et vérifier l'application des mesures de contrôle des médicaments.
Analyser et exécuter, s'il y a lieu, toutes les interventions possibles avant de donner une médication P.R.N..
