Based in Montreal, NūMove is a manufacturer and integrator of robotic systems and industrial automation solutions. We develop robust and innovative technologies thanks to our expertise in design, programming, software development and artificial vision.

We assemble and program our systems directly in our 32,000 square foot workshop before commissioning them at our customers' premises. Electromechanic

Under the supervision of the production and equipment team leader, the electromechanic:

Responsibilities:

  • Organize your floor space to ensure adequate and efficient work;
  • Responsible for daily and weekly objectives established with your immediate superior;
  • Participate in the mechanical, pneumatic and electrical assembly of various assemblies and equipment:
  • Execute and participate in the quality process related to production;
  • Participate in the installation of the various assembled equipment;
  • Represent the production team during daily project meetings;
  • Work closely with the various teams project and engineering in their needs regarding workshop testing;
  • Analyze, propose and participate in the resolution of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and other problems during the different phases of a project:
  • Participate in the dismantling and shipping of the various equipment;
  • Respect and ensure the monitoring of health and safety standards established by NūMove
  • Support the production supervisor when necessary;
  • Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of our equipment and tools:
  • Carry out any other related tasks (building support, etc.).

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Hold an AEC in electromechanics or an equivalent diploma with 5 years of experience or more;
  • Experience in industrial automation and machine manufacturing ;
  • Hold a forklift driver's license;
  • Hold a valid driver's license and passport as well as no travel restrictions;
  • Perfect knowledge of French;
  • Functional English, given the nature of the position, interaction with our customers in the United States and English Canada;
  • Good knowledge of computers and the Office suite;
  • Be available to travel outside the metropolitan area;
  • Knowledge of machining (an asset);
  • Knowledge of basic programming (an asset).
